Nicemark is a Toronto based project led by Mark Calderone, who writes, records, and produces his own music. He approached me to design a poster for an event and wanted the direction of the poster to be “funky”. 

Funk, soul, psychedelic rock, and hip-hop highly influences him, so given that this was to be for a live show, I wanted the creative for the event to be eye-catching and loud. 

The poster I designed is psychedelic inspired taking colour cues from 1960’s printmaking techniques while incorporating his favourite colour — neon pink!
